Framecrafters Racing - 2012

In 2012 Team Framecrafters was focusing almost entirely on their Sound of Singles race program (formally Super-Mono). A joint effort was formed within the small team to make a run at the AHRMA National Road Race Championship.  Two years of continuous development with the BM-GP F450 machine paid off seeing a near flawless race season and clinching the 2012 AHRMA SOS-2 National Championship.

Other highlights throughout the 2012 season included racing the BBM Aermacchi 250 CRTT machine, a podium finish aboard the FC framed, Yamaha powered Moto3 project and a few laps aboard the Yamaha YZ450f motard bike.

Team Framecrafters 2013 race machine line up

2013 is bringing more change to the Framecrafters roadrace program. While continuing to focus on defending our SOS-2 Championship Title, Team FC has been working diligently to bring some former race machines back to the front lines. Over the past several years Team FC has been slowly restoring race bike #1. The FC-Triumph 750 Triple (seen above in blue), originally built and raced in 1989 and unofficially retired in 1993 this unique race machine will finally see the track again this year. In addition to having the Triumph completed the class dominating FC-Yamaha RD400 will receive a complete make over with the goal of being ready for the 2013 AHRMA-Barber Vintage Festival in October. Other projects will include a continued effort of the FC Yamaha powered Moto3 development and a new Premier 500 joint build for 2014.
