Framecrafters Racing - 2013
For the second year in a row, Karsten Illg and Team FC have won the Sound of Singles 2 class (formally super-mono) with the Framecrafters Yamaha F450rr machine in the 2013 AHRMA National Road Race Championship Series. The year consisted of near flawless results while defending and retaining the number 1 plate for another year. Furthermore, Karsten Illg raced the BBM 250 CRTT Aermacchi, FC Triumph 750 Triple and the FC Yamaha 450 Motard machines to further success through much of 2013.

In addition to defending the SOS2 national title in 2014 Karsten Illg and Team FC will be contesting a variety of "Twins" classes including; AHRMA Battle of Twins Formula 2, WERA Formula 2 and CCS Lightweight GP. A joint project with famed engine tuner and builder Babe Demay, Team FC will be racing a Yamaha 750cc V-twin motor coupled to a variation of the Framecrafters BM-GP/4 chassis.

While maintaining a busy race program for 2014, Team FC will be sponsoring a Moto3 build for the upcoming 2014 race season. Utilizing the Framecrafters BM-GP\2 chassis and associated parts, a well developed YZ250f , Babe Demay "spec" motor will be fitted. While continuing his commitments and position as snowmobile engineer at Yamaha USA, Nick Blasel will be racing and managing the joint Moto3 domestic effort. While the former FC Moto3 project was on hold for the 2013 season, Team FC is looking forward to rejuvenating this project with Blasel and additionally will be looking for team contributors and sponsors for 2014.
